Are you satisfied? Are you satisfied with your Christian life? I'm not with mine. There's a depth of spirituality that I have not been. I believe I've tasted it but that has only served to show me there's more....alot more to the good life Jesus spoke of in John 10:10b. He said, "I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full." NIV I think most of us, if we're honest, have only tasted the fullness. Maybe in moments at church or conversations with friends, in a quiet moment before the kids get up or the tiredness at the end of a busy day; in these moments we get a taste of the good life. A still small voice that speaks incredible peace into our souls, the scripture that speaks right to our circumstances and causes us to hope again, the need we were able to meet in secrecy, all aspects of the good life. I know there's more....a lot more and I'm not satisfied!! I want to know Jesus more, the good life is all about Him. I'll be sharing more about this at our vision meeting Saturday, May 10, 7pm at the Vineyard Community Church in Mt. Comfort. He's so sweet to give us Himself in so many ways...bird's singing, newborn babies, peace that truly passes all understanding and joy that comes even in the midst of heartache. I want..no,NEED to slow down and quiet myself to receive more of HIM. HE is my reward, comfort, strength, my everything!!!
There’s a song by Jennifer Knapp “I Want To Know You”. Unfortunately, the verses and bridge aren’t very good for worship the way the chorus is, but the chorus is very good:

I’ve been there … I’m there now … and I know He’s knowable – waay more knowable than I know Him today.
Perhaps an even better song, that confesses what (little) we do know OF God, and how (little) we know Him - it's by 4Him:
